These 5mm magnetic balls spheres magnets are tiny! They are small but surprisingly strong, despite their diminutive size.

These precision neodymium sphere magnets are available in either 3mm or 25mm diameter. They are commonly used in sculptures, artistic displays and experiments. The power of these magnets should not be underestimated; there is a risk that these magnets will chip and break if they are allowed to slam together. Because of this they are not suitable for children and should not be bought as toys.

Each magnet can support 0.4kg pull vertically from the magnetic face when in flush contact with a mild steel surface
Each magnet is coated with three layers of nickel, copper and nickel to improve corrosion resistance and provide a smooth and clean finish

I saw these magnetic ball magnets being demonstrated recently at a Toy shop and was so impressed that when I got home I checked on umagnets.com to see which retailers were selling them. I settled on this choice from ‘UMAGNETS’.
