Neodymium cube magnets are typically produced with their north and south pole on opposite square faces. Cube magnets are a very popular and versatile type of neodymium magnet. Geometrically they are cuboids with identical length, width and height. All cube magnets have their north and south pole on two opposing sides. In order to detect the poles you can use a second identical magnet and carefully test adherence and repulsion on the individual cube sides.
