Steel discs are popular in premium product packaging, corrugated boxes, and other scrapbook/paper crafts. Using one magnet and one steel disc/plate instead of two magnets both saves on cost and makes installation easier as you don’t have to match up the north and south poles of the opposing magnets. They can also work well with craft projects and figurine building.
