Instructions

Vaihe 1

Leikkaa avokadot pituussuunnassa, poista kuoppa ja kaavi vihreä hedelmäliha pois.

Kärki: Avokadon hedelmälihasta tulee kermainen guacamole … mhhh!

 

Vaihe 2

Mix arts & crafts cement according to manufacturer instructions and fill the avocado halves with the cement mixture.

Wait approx. 10 minutes, to allow the cement to set.

Kärki: You may dye the cement mixture beforehand with acrylic paint or pigments.

 

Vaihe 3

Brush the underside of the eggs with vegetable oil (which helps to remove the egg from the cement mixture after it has dried). Now place the egg where the pit was originally.

 

Vaihe 4

At the narrow part of the avocado halves, sink two cube magnets into the cement mixture. Now tap the outside of the avocado halves to allow air bubbles in the cement mixture to escape.

 

Vaihe 5

After 24 hours drying time, remove the eggs and the avocado skin.

Now you can sand down the surface of the shapes with sand paper.

 

Vaihe 6

You can now paint the indentations of the egg cups with gold or silver paint – which makes for an elegant design.

 

Done!
